NY22 – Claudia Tenney, Republican candidate for Congress in New York’s 22nd District, announced that her campaign raised nearly $400,000 in the second quarter. Fueled by overwhelming grassroots support, 85% of contributions to Tenney’s campaign were small dollar ($50 or less). Furthermore, Tenney’s campaign received donations from every one of the district’s eight counties.
Claudia Tenney said, “I am humbled by the outpouring of support from voters in Central New York and the Southern Tier. Their generous contributions are vital to our effort to take back the 22nd District and achieve commonsense conservative solutions in Washington. We promise to use these funds effectively and efficiently to win this race. Residents of New York 22nd District deserve a representative to work for them, not the liberal DC special interests who fund Brindisi’s campaign.”
Tenney’s campaign has $600,000 cash-on-hand at the end of the quarter and is off to a fast start in the third quarter after winning the June 23rd GOP Primary handily.
“I will always fight for our communities’ small businesses, seniors, veterans, and family farms and against the radical leftist agenda of the Washington Democrats. Our supporters know that Anthony Brindisi, Nancy Pelosi, and Joe Biden are out of touch with the middle-class concerns of Upstate New York.”
