Tenney Campaign Launches “Copycat” Ad
Digital ad highlights “Copycat” Brindisi stealing Tenney accomplishments, claiming as his own

New Hartford, NY – The Claudia Tenney for Congress Campaign today released an ad highlighting Anthony Brindisi’s record of copying Tenney legislation and accomplishments and claiming them as his own.

“Tenney is particularly critical of a rule issued by the Cuomo administration in March that required nursing homes to accept COVID-19 positive patients coming out of hospitals.

In his short time in office, Brindisi has claimed credit for Tenney’s work including more money for Rome Lab, funding for Broome County transportation and even xeroxing Tenney’s Chuck Osier Burial Benefits Act. Leaving three impeachment votes, the so-called HEROES Act and a 90% voting record with Nancy Pelosi as his only true accomplishments.

Narrator:

See Anthony Brindisi touting a bill to expand visas for dairy workers?

Good idea. Wonder where he got it?

Maybe it was the bill Claudia Tenney championed two years before Brindisi got to Congress.

And, there’s Brindisi taking credit for more funding for Rome Lab.

But, guess who actually secured the money.

You guessed it. Claudia Tenney.

It wasn’t the first time, and it certainly won’t be the last.

Like when Brindisi claimed he’d brought millions to Broome County for clean energy transit.

That was Tenney, too.

And, get this. Brindisi didn’t even bother to change the name of the Chuck Osier Burial Benefits Act. A carbon copy of legislation Tenney wrote to extend burial benefits to families of veterans who wish to be cremated like Chuck Osier.

Funny. Brindisi’s press release didn’t mention that.

Want a headline? Easy.

Xerox someone else’s record.

But, if you want real results, that’s Claudia Tenney.
