Claudia Tenney on Track to Win After Last Votes Counted

Tenney Confident Of Vote Lead

NY22 – After Chenango County completed its unofficial tabulation of all ballots, Republican candidate for New York’s 22nd Congressional District Claudia Tenney emerged the victor from preliminary and official results. With all eight counties reporting, Tenney leads Anthony Brindisi by more than 100 votes in unofficial tallies.

Claudia Tenney said: “Now that every vote has been counted, we have maintained the vote lead and are poised to come out victorious. This process has been long but it is critical that every legal vote be counted and accounted for. Now that it is done, I am confident that I will be certified the winner soon. I look forward to going to Washington to serve the all people of New York’s 22nd District in Congress and want to thank the voters for that privilege. I will always fight for and serve all the people of this district including those that did not support me.”

Based on the final margin and nature of the canvassing process, Tenney’s lead is highly unlikely to change in the case of a recount. The court that is overseeing the process ordered that every Board of Elections hand count and then machine count before reconciling the vote totals which eliminates any significant errors in the final tabulation.

Claudia Tenney Confident of Victory for Congress

Returns Show Tenney with Strong Lead in Congressional Race

Vernon, NY – Claudia Tenney, Republican candidate for Congress in New York’s 22ndDistrict, addressed a room filled with supporters and declared that she has confidence that her campaign will prevail after all the votes are counted.

While the county boards of election continue to count the votes in NY22, returns suggest that the voters of Central New York and the Southern Tier will send Claudia Tenney back to Congress to represent them in Washington. Tenney leads Anthony Brindisi by over 30,000 votes by midnight on election day. Even withoutstanding absentee ballots, Brindisi’s path to victory is extremely narrow.

On election night, Tenney supporters gathered at the Nothin’ Fancy Cafe in Vernon, New York to watch returns. Her son, Trey, introduced Claudia saying “I don’t know anyone with as much grit as my mom.”

Claudia Tenney said:

“Based on early returns, I am confident that our campaign will prevail. I am overwhelmed by the outpouring support for our campaign. I want to thank our volunteers and supporters for all their hard work and the voters of the 22nd District for their confidence.Voters here know that our country and our communities are worth fighting for and I will carry that fight to Washington. America and Upstate New York need champions that will always put the people first. I pledge to always put Central New York and the Southern Tier first. The work to MakeUpstate New York and the United States of America Great Again has only just begun.”

“I’ve spoken to White House officials and they are on top of it. The message has gotten to President Trump. The Treasury Department and Department of Labor are engaged.You will not be forgotten and I will keep fighting for your livelihoods, rights, and our community because it’s the right thing to do.”

Tenney, who has endorsed by UMWA 717 in every campaign since 2012, stood with workers against the mistreatment and union contract violations. Claudia spoke to the gathered crowd in support of the workers and pledged to fight to ensure the terms of the union contract were fulfilled.

Tenney said:

“I’ve reviewed the union contract and it looks clear to me, as an attorney, that the terms of this agreement must be satisfied.”

Over the weekend, nearly 600 Remington employees received notice that they were laid-off permanently and their healthcare, severance, and other benefits were terminated as of October 31, 2020.

Utica, NY – The Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce, which represents more than 575 Utica-area small businesses, awarded Claudia Tenney a perfect 5 out of 5 score on their candidate survey for her support of small business and the Chamber’s pro-jobs, pro-growth agenda. In contrast, Anthony Brindisi received a ZERO from the Chamber – he didn’t even bother to fill it out. That says all you need to know about Anthony Brindisi – he is too busy voting with Pelosi, impeaching President Trump, and defunding the police to address the small business community.

It is unsurprising since Brindisi dodged the Binghamton Chamber’s candidate forum last month – sending a pre-recorded video message instead. Brindisi also refused to participate in the Rome Chamber’s candidate forum – thefirst timean incumbent has done so in its two-decade long history.

A staunch ally of law enforcement, Tenney has the endorsement of the NYPD SBA, the NYS Troopers, the NYS Police Investigators Association, numerous local sheriffs, the Police Conference of New York and 15 local police associations including Binghamton PBA, Utica PBA, Rome PBA, Endicott PBA, and Herkimer PBA and hundreds of local frontline police officers.

The message is clear: Anthony Brindisi does not care about small businesses and job creators or the region’s economy as much as cashing in on suing the police and giving $1200 stimulus checks to illegal aliens.

On the other hand, Claudia Tenney, a small business owner in NY22 herself, fights for the job-creator community, advocating for lower taxes, less burdensome regulation, and a pro-growth business climate every day.

Tomorrow, the voters of Central New York and the Southern Tier will send Brindisi back to private practice as a trial lawyer, specializing in suing small businesses.

After reaching out to Richmond Italia, the principal owner of Roundhill Group which purchased the Ilion factory in the Remington Arms bankruptcy, Tenney met with Italia with other Herkimer County leaders to express the urgent concerns of the employees.

Tenney is endorsed by the Remington employees’ union, UMWA 717, in her run for Congress.

Italia told Tenney that his plans were to return the plant to operations as soon as in 75 days and eventually employ a workforce significantly larger than the plant’s previous headcount.

Claudia Tenney said: “Priority number one is making sure that contractual obligations are met and establishing a fair deal for the hardworking employees of the Remington plant going forward and ensuring that these well-paying jobs stay here in our community. Mr. Italia’s plans to bring back the jobs and grow the business are heartening. At Ilion Rally, Tenney Stands Up for Remington Workers
Tenney Working with Trump Administration to Help Laid-Off Employees

Ilion, NY — Today, Claudia Tenney joined Remington workers and their families at a rally and protest outside the Remington Arms plant in Ilion organized by the United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) Local 717.

Tenney updated the workers about her ongoing discussions with the White House, Treasury Department, and Department of Labor to intervene on behalf of the workers at America’s oldest continuously operating manufacturing facility, founded in Ilion in 1816.

The UMWA 717- endorsed candidate for Congress in New York’s 22nddistrict, Claudia Tenney told the crowd of workers and their supporters:

“I want to say to the Remington workers – you’ve always had my backand I will always have yours. You have made firearms of the highest craftsmanship for generations and you are the heart of our community. This is a tragedy of epic proportions but we will keep fighting for you, your families, and your rights and we will come out stronger.”

Upon hearing the news on Saturday, Tenney acted immediately and contacted the White House, Treasury Department, and Department of Labor to make them aware and ask for their help securing the workers’ rights under their contract including receiving the severance payments due to the Remington workers.

Brindisi Runs From Anti-Police, Pro-Pelosi, 3x Impeaching Record

NY22 – Tonight, in the third NY22 debate, Claudia Tenney showed why the voters of New York’s 22nd District will send her to Congress and Anthony Brindisi packing on November 3rd.

Claudia Tenney, who raised her US Marine Captain son as a single mother while running a small business, made the strong case that she understands the struggles and dreams of Central New York and Southern Tier voters. She addressedre-opening the economy, supporting our police, helping seniors and small businesses, and prioritizing our veterans over illegal aliens.

Meanwhile, Brindisi ran from his record and dodged hard questions repeatedly. He refused to explain why he voted for the anti-police bill to strip law enforcement of critical equipment, allow trial lawyers like himself to personally bankrupt cops with frivolous lawsuits, and to post disproven complaints against innocent officers online allowing radicals to harass and threaten them. Brindisi even took $10,000 cash from the trial lawyer lobby before the vote to enrich them and his family’s law firm.

After pocketing millions in backdoor cash from Spectrum and tens of thousands from Impeachment kingpin Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi, Brindisi’s phony persona as an everyman was laid bare.

In contrast to Brindisi’s ducking and weaving, Tenney looked the voters straight in the eye and set the record straight. Brindisi’s megarich liberal donors and insiders don’t decide who goesto Congress, Upstate New York’s hardworking, cop-backing, and freedom-loving voters do.
