Brindisi Dodging FOUR NY-22 Debates, Media, & Voters
Press Should Be Asking: Why’s Brindisi Hiding From Voters?

NY22 – Anthony Brindisi, who claims to be transparent, has declined four (4) public debates offered by local media and civic organizations. Republican candidate for NY22 Claudia Tenney has accepted six debates so far and welcomes addressing voters and the media. Meanwhile, Brindisi is hiding — afraid to answer for his record of broken promises — impeaching President Trump, voting with Nancy Pelosi nearly 90% of the time, and taking backdoor Spectrum cash.

Every member of the media should be asking:Where’s Brindisi? Why is he hiding from legitimate news organizations and public forums including the Rome Chamber, Binghamton’s WBNG-TV, and Utica’s WUTR Radio.

In the 17-year history of the Rome Chamber Forum, no incumbent elected official has EVER declined to participate until Anthony Brindisi.

– WBNG-TV moved the date for Brindisi, he still declined.

– For almost two months, Brindisi has refused to answer WIBX’s invitation.

Tenney spokesman Sean Kennedy said: “Anthony Brindisi is dodging debates because he does not want to be accountable for his record of broken promises and his support for the radical left-wing policies of Nancy Pelosi including impeaching President Trump with no-evidence, defunding the police, raising taxes on middle-class families, and a government takeover of our healthcare.”

In July, Claudia Tenney challenged Brindisi to at least eight (8) debates across NY-22.

Brindisi has declined or refused to confirm participation in the following four (4) debates and forums:

– WIBX Radio (950 AM – Utica)

– WUTQ Radio (100.7 FM – Utica)

– WBNG-TV (CBS/CW affiliate in Binghamton area)

– Professional & Business Women of Rome and Rome Chamber of Commerce Forum

To true her word, Tenney has so far accepted thesix (6) invitations to public debates across the district.

Claudia Tenney said: “I have welcomed all fair and open opportunities to address the voters of the 22nd District. All constituents deserve to hear from those who wish to represent them in Congress. As always, I am standing up for transparency with the voters. It is disappointing that Anthony Brindisi is dodging debates because he does not want to be accountable for his record.”
