We could not have done it without the hard work, generosity and sacrifice of hundreds of volunteers, donors and supporters like you. This truly was a grassroots campaign. Our victory was yours as much as mine.
I am humbled by the trust placed in me by the voters of the 22nd Congressional District. I am grateful for each and every vote, and to have the opportunity to serve you in the People’s House. This is among the highest honors of my life.
To those who did not vote for me, I will work to earn their support and my office will be there to help. I also want to congratulate Kim Myers and Martin Babinec. Running for office isn’t easy, and this wasn’t an easy race.
I will provide an independent voice in Congress for the middle class families, small businesses, family farms and regular hard working people who simply don’t have a voice in Washington. I will work for policies to rebuild New York’s manufacturing economy, stop bad trade deals, secure the border, rebuild our military and protect our veterans.
Throughout my short time in politics, I have stood up when others would not to challenge the failed policies of the political class, and I have proven my ability to work across the aisle to get results that benefit our community. That’s the same type of leadership I look forward to taking to Washington.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making our victory possible on Tuesday night.
